Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant education; certification preferred.
• Alternative trainings with active certification and 1+ years field experience accepted (EMT, Surgical Tech, CNA).
• College graduates with health science coursework may substitute credentials.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinic administrative duties: phone calls, patient check-in/out, scheduling coordination.
• Obtain medical history, vital signs, chart prep, medications, allergies; assist examinations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per protocols and policies.
• Prepare examination room and ensure equipment readiness.
• Document encounters in electronic medical records.
