UCHealth is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for the Longs Peak Medical Center in Longmont, CO. This onsite role supports urology services under supervision, taking histories, performing routine tasks, and assisting with procedures.

You will work days, schedule full-time (80 hours per pay period), and earn $22.14–$28.78 per hour depending on experience. A structured career ladder offers growth within the department.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program from an accredited school or equivalent.
• Trained in urological procedures through vocational or post‑hire physician training.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) and/or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credentials preferred.
• EMT/Paramedic credentials may be considered.
• On-site, full-time role with structured career ladder.

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient history and vital signs.
• Explains procedures, documents care, and communicates findings with RN and Physician.
• Assists with urologic radiographic and ultrasound examinations and cystoscopies.
• Performs urinary catheter insertions/removals and basic laboratory duties.
• Administers medications and injections per practice guidelines; processes refills with Physicians.
• Cleans and restocks rooms/instruments; transports patients as needed.
