Qualifications

• Minimum one year of administrative assistant experience in a medical office.
• Experience handling patient scheduling and receptionist duties.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Familiarity with CLIA/JCAHO compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Escort and prepare patients for examinations.
• Obtain and record vital signs and medical history.
• Assist urologists with procedures and tests.
• Prepare exam rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Schedule appointments, surgeries, and follow-ups.
• Handle billing, coding, and prior authorizations.
• Answer calls and manage patient inquiries and messages.
• Maintain patient records with confidentiality.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare staff.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and QA initiatives.
