Northwestern Medicine is hiring a Medical Assistant for the Urology clinic in Glenview. This full-time, 40-hour-per-week position runs daytime schedule from Monday through Friday, at the Glenview clinic location.

The role focuses on supporting physicians, nurses, and staff to maintain efficient patient flow and high-quality care. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and MA certification (AAMA/AMT/NCCT/NHA/NAHP) with BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current certification in one of the eligible MA exams (AAMA CMA, AMT RMA, NCCT NCMA, NHA CCMA, NAHP NRCMA).
• Within first six months, complete one MA certification after up to two test attempts (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA).
• Sign-on/onboarding certification requirement within six months.

Responsibilities

• Attends to patient flow and prepares exam rooms for visits.
• Assists with ECG, venipuncture, immunizations, specimen collection, and CLIA-waived testing as directed.
• Maintains clean, stocked exam rooms and manages supplies and inventory.
• Interacts with patients and care team to ensure professional, friendly service.
