Job summary

Auncurology is seeking a Medical Assistant Certified to support both administrative and clinical tasks in our urology practice. The role works closely with physicians and nurses to ensure efficient patient flow and accurate medical records.

The position involves greeting patients, taking vitals, drawing blood, performing EKGs, assisting in examinations, and processing routine lab work. Training on EMR and practice management software will be provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program required.
• Medical Assistant Certification or Registration required; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative and clinical duties under supervision.
• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments with physicians and staff.
• Greet and prepare patients for visits.
• Measure and record vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy and basic laboratory tests; run EKGs.
• Assist physicians with exams and in-office procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
