Job summary

TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Surg Urology unit. This part-time Day Shift role offers 48 hours bi-weekly with a 7:00am–7:30pm schedule and every 3rd weekend rotation, including a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

The 6200 Medical-Surgical Unit focuses on urology and related medical care, offering opportunities for skill development, certification, and professional growth within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing required.
• New hires must obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• BLS/CPR certified for healthcare providers required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document initial and ongoing patient/family assessments.
• Develop, communicate, and update individualized plans of care, including discharge planning.
• Provide safe, patient-centered care that supports autonomy, dignity, and diversity.
• Recognize and respond to emergencies and take appropriate clinical action.
• Carry out physician orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Complete assigned care and documentation within required timeframes.
• Administer medications/treatments safely and perform technical skills per policy.
• Evaluate patient responses and revise the plan of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Supervise and delegate tasks appropriately to other team members.
• Serve as a clinical resource and support training/education of staff and students.
• Maintain current clinical knowledge and adhere to organizational and departmental standards.
• Function in relief charge/resource roles as requested.
