Job summary

Centers for Advanced Urology seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to assess, plan, implement, and document patient care in a urology clinical setting. The LPN will utilize specialized knowledge and provide documentation in electronic format, supporting both office and surgical procedures.

The position requires completion of an LPN program, nursing school graduate status with 6 months to 1 year of urology-related experience, BLS certification, and the ability to work with a skilled medical team

Qualifications

• Completion of LPN program required.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with 6 months to 1 year related experience preferably in urology.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patient care in accordance with nursing practice.
• Provide direct surgical assistance with urological office procedures.
• Review physician orders, lab requests, or follow-up needs with patient.
• Perform blood draws and venipuncture as directed.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with HIPAA.
