Brown University Health is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to oversee nursing care provided by staff in a physician practice setting. Under physician supervision, you will lead, delegate, and participate in safe nursing activities while considering aging, lifespan development, and cultural patterns in patient care.

You will ensure quality patient care, support education and credentialing, and collaborate with the healthcare team to improve outcomes within a day-shift schedule in Providence, RI.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• LPN licensure in the state of Rhode Island.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills to provide care across the life span.

Responsabilidades

• Provides patient care under the supervision of site physician(s).
• Leads by delegating, supervising, and participating in safe nursing care activities.
• Evaluates effectiveness of patient care and identifies improvement opportunities.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team, patient, family, and community services.
• Maintains vaccine records as mandated by the State.
• Performs EKGs, pulmonary function tests, and other tests as needed.
