Job summary

Physicians East, P.A. is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant – Clinical Coordinator I to join the Arlington Urology team in Greenville, NC. This full-time role supports providers during patient visits, prepares exam rooms, records vitals, and documents health histories in the EMR system.

The successful candidate will hold an accredited Medical Assistant associate degree with active certification and demonstrate strong communication, privacy awareness, and teamwork in a busy clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited associate degree Medical Assistant program and current certification through AAMA, NHA, RMA or similar organization is required.
• Experience in electronic medical records (EMR/HER) software required.
• Professional demeanor and recognition of privacy considerations for patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the clinic and assist physicians during visits and in-office procedures.
• Record vital signs and patient health history accurately.
• Maintain exam rooms and manage supplies, including medications and specimens.
• Assist with immunizations, pre-authorizations, and referrals as directed.
