Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; certifications such as Phlebotomy or CMA a plus.
• Medical office or healthcare experience required.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for examinations and procedures.
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, allergies, and medication reconciliation.
• Document patient information in EHR and complete required documentation.
• Collect, process, and submit blood, urine, and other specimens.
• Perform point-of-care testing including urinalysis.
• Administer injections and bladder instillations within scope of practice.
• Obtain consent forms and prepare patients for procedures.
• Assist providers during examinations and office procedures.
• Manage patient calls, messages, and EHR tasks.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and infection control standards.
• Provide administrative support including registration, scheduling, data entry, and reception.
