Job summary

Centers for Advanced Urology seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our urology clinic team. You will assess, document, and support patient care, including direct assistance with office procedures and coordinate with the care team.

Ideal candidates hold an LPN license, BLS, and preferred urology experience; you will ensure compliant documentation and patient education while maintaining HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of LPN program is required.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with 6–12 months’ urology experience preferred.
• Current LPN license and BLS certification; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patient care in accordance with nursing practice.
• Provide direct surgical assistance with urological office procedures.
• Review physician orders and lab requests with patients.
• Perform treatments per physician orders, including medication administration and catheterizations.
• Perform blood draws and ensure proper handling of medications.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with scheduling and care teams for patient readiness.
