Job summary

Summa Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider – Urology for a 1.0 FTE role. The position is 40 hours weekly, primarily outpatient at the Akron Campus, with a requirement to cover satellite locations up to 2 days per week.

The ideal candidate will evaluate and treat urologic conditions, perform office-based procedures, order and interpret studies, prescribe medications, and educate patients. New graduates are welcome to apply and benefit from a supportive team of physicians and APPs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program, MPAS preferred, and have passed the national certification examination.
• Current Ohio APRN/PA license or eligibility and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with urologic conditions (BPH, kidney stones, incontinence, hematuria, oncology follow-ups).
• Perform office-based procedures and interpret diagnostic studies.
• Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans; provide patient education and counseling.
