Job summary

UNC Health in North Carolina seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to join the NC Urology team at Rex/UNC Hospital and Rex/UNC Holly Springs Hospital. The APP will collaborate with four surgeons and two APPs to deliver comprehensive urologic care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

The role covers inpatient admissions, ER and consults, postoperative rounds, operating room support, and outpatient management of general urology and oncologic conditions.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (PA) program.
• Demonstrated clinical competency and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate health and medical history and perform physical assessments.
• Coordinate patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Assist in operating room and perioperative care as needed.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and plans of care.
• Participate in quality improvement and team-based care initiatives.
