Job summary

Duke University Health System seeks an Advanced Practice Provider for Adult Benign Urology Clinics in Cary and Durham, NC. You will work with attending physicians, collect data, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order labs, and deliver direct patient care in a day-shift setting.

The role requires NP or PA training, NC licensure, BLS, and 1+ year urology APP experience preferred; involvement in teaching, research, and clinical practice across Duke’s outpatient network is expected.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioners: Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Physician Assistants: Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians.
• Take patient histories and conduct physical exams.
• Schedule labs and diagnostic procedures; explain procedures to patients.
• Monitor patient progress and report to supervising physician.
• Participate in teaching students and residents; support research.
