Job summary

UNC Health Medical Group in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APN/PA) with urology experience or strong new graduate candidates to join the NC Urology team at Rex/UNC Rex Holly Springs hospitals. The APP will work with four surgeons and two APPs to deliver comprehensive urologic care, with focus on inpatient and outpatient services and OR coverage.

The role spans Monday–Friday with one night call weekly and one weekend per month.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (APRN, PA, or equivalent) in North Carolina.
• Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.

Responsibilities

• Clinical care including inpatient rounds, ER consults, bedside procedures, and care coordination.
• Outpatient management of general urology and urologic oncology conditions.
• Operating room coverage and robotic bedside assist as needed.
• Educate patients and families; provide teaching and learning materials.
• Lead and participate in quality improvement and care delivery projects.
