Summary:

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Urologist to join our growing academic Urology practice in Buffalo and Western New York State. The candidate will be a Surgeon-Scientist, providing a full spectrum urologic oncology practice with a focus on bladder cancer, along with protected academic time for basic science and laboratory work. Job Duties:

We are recruiting a full-time Urologist to serve the Buffalo and Western New York area. The role involves providing urologic oncology expertise, mainly focused on bladder cancer. As a Surgeon-Scientist, 50% of your time will be dedicated to basic science or clinical research, with an expectation to secure external funding. You will participate in multidisciplinary clinics, tumor boards, operate in state-of-the-art facilities, and be involved in our Men’s Sexual Health program.

Roswell Park was founded in 1898 and is the first cancer center in America dedicated exclusively to cancer research. It pioneered the multidisciplinary approach to cancer care and has received NCI designation as a comprehensive cancer center since 1974. It is a founding member of the NCCN, and its faculty contribute to national guidelines and standards in oncology. The center employs nearly 4,000 staff, including over 350 faculty, caring for nearly 50,000 patients annually.

Salary range is $271,587 - $700,000, including a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience

• License to practice medicine in New York State
• Eligibility for a medical specialty certificate in Urologic Oncology

Education and experience must include a Medical Doctor degree and full-time experience in Urologic Oncology from an accredited institution.
