Department of Veterans Affairs’ Phoenix VA Health Care System seeks a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Urologist for a full-time position. The role involves comprehensive urological care, pre-operative assessment, and a range of adult urological surgeries, including robotic procedures where applicable.
Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with minimal call. Benefits include performance bonus up to $15,000/year, substantial leave, CME time, retirement plans, and relocation options
Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVAHCS) has an immediate full-time opening for a Board-Eligible /Board-Certified Urologist to join our exemplary Urological team providing extraordinary care to Veterans and fulfilling the VA Mission. We are looking for a Urologist who enjoys a collaborative environment and can be an effective communicator with colleagues, patients and/or families. You will perform a variety of urological services including pre-operative patient assessment, exam, management, and all aspects of adult urological surgery. Duties also include providing surgical treatment for genitourinary injuries and diseases, including major and minor procedures. Robotics training/experience is a plus. You may be considered for a faculty appointment at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix and be integral to the education and teaching of urology fellows, residents, and medical students.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (approximate & minimal call)
Must be board-certified to receive the 5 days off for CME.
Authorized: This position is eligible for EDRP, a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of your start date. Program approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. Former participants are ineligible to apply for the EDRP incentive.
