Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Board-Certified or -Eligible Urologist to provide expert care for urinary tract conditions and male reproductive organ issues. This OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT remains open until filled, with referrals reviewed as vacancies arise.

Qualifications

• US citizenship or eligibility per VA policy.
• MD/DO degree from an approved school.
• Current full/unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
• Residency completed in an approved core specialty with board eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist care for urinary tract conditions and male reproductive organs.
• Examine, diagnose, and treat patients; order and interpret tests.
• Supervise Urology residents and VA staff; participate in CME and quality initiatives.
• Document patient care in electronic medical records and ensure Joint Commission readiness.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
