Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a full-time Urologist within the Surgery Service to provide expert clinical care for veterans in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

The incumbent will perform rounds, manage consults, and conduct urologic procedures including cystoscopy and biopsy, with on-call responsibilities as needed. A current U.S. license and board certification are required.

Qualifications

• MD degree and U.S. medical license.
• Residency in Urology with board eligibility/certification.
• Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient rounds and evaluate consultations in urology.
• Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient urologic care.
• Conduct cystoscopy and biopsy procedures; perform surgeries as indicated.
• Be on-call to evaluate urology consults from ED or inpatient services.
• Document H&Ps and EMR updates; coordinate patient care with the team.
