Job summary

IMP Locum Tenens, LLC is seeking an experienced Urology physician for inpatient coverage in Richland, WA, on a locum tenens basis.

Shifts are 7a-7p with a 7 on/7 off rotation, plus overnight beeper call 7p-7a. The role involves performing ureteroscopy with laser, lithotripsy, laparoscopic and robotic surgeries, and managing general and oncologic urology cases. Epic is the EMR, with on-site lab and imaging.

Qualifications

• Active WA medical license and board certification in urology.
• Inpatient experience and ability to handle emergencies.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR and hospital protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient urology coverage during scheduled 12-hour shifts (7a–7p) on a 7 on/7 off rotation.
• Take overnight beeper call as part of the rotation, managing urology consults and emergencies.
• Perform a wide range of urology procedures including ureteroscopy with laser, shockwave lithotripsy, laparoscopic and robotic surgeries, and endourologic interventions.
• Manage a diverse adult patient population, addressing both General Urology and complex oncologic cases.
• Collaborate with facility staff and support team to ensure continuity of care, with potential for transition to permanent position.
