A hospital-employed urology practice in Portsmouth, Ohio is seeking a Board Certified Urologist for a full-time role with flexible scheduling and robust support.

The position offers two salary options based on MGMA percentiles, with guaranteed periods, bonuses, sign-on, loan repayment, CME, retirement plans, moving assistance, malpractice coverage, and health insurance. Office hours are 8:00am-4:30pm Mon-Thu and 8:00am-noon Fri; call is about 17 weeks/year.

Opportunity

Seeking a Board Certified Urologist for a full-time, hospital-employed practice with flexible scheduling.

Provide outpatient and surgical urology services, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and integrate into the practice culture.

Compensation & Benefits

Work Schedule & Call

Office hours from 8:00am to 4:30pm (Mon-Thu) and 8:00am to noon (Fri), with a 1:3 call schedule (~17 weeks/year).

Practice Details

Located in Portsmouth, OH, with an outpatient load of 15-20 patients daily, 3-4 half-day clinics, and 4-8 procedures/day. Support staff includes nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and clinical personnel. Equipped with ultrasound, cystoscopy, and electronic health records.

Qualifications & Skills

Board certification in urology, ability to work well with staff, and commitment to patient care.

Additional opportunities for teaching and academic involvement are available, with practice serving a community of approximately 250,000 and a hospital with 248 beds. All employment contingent upon background checks and health screenings.
