Job summary

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Physician, you will deliver the highest quality patient care within a high-functioning interdisciplinary team, adhering to ethical and professional standards.

Every day, you will evaluate and manage patients, maintain precise medical records, and fulfil administrative duties. You’ll comply with all relevant healthcare programmes (e.g., Medicare, managed care), ethical directives, and hospital policies, actively participating in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and relevant committees. You’ll contribute to operational matters, provide on‑call coverage, and pursue continuous medical education to maintain expertise.

To be successful in this role, you must commit to quality care, compliance, continuous learning, and active participation in hospital goals, including community benefit services and maintaining compensation model targets.

  • Provides highest quality patient care.
  • Provides ambulatory care in the Clinic as designated.
  • Services provided by the physician include seeing patients, preparing medical records, professional and administrative duties.
  • Updates and maintains medical records for all examinations, services, and other services in accordance with policy.
  • Physician participates and complies with the requirements of sponsoring entities ethical and religious directives (ERD), Medicare,
  • Medicaid, or other federal and state reimbursement plans.
  • Physician will participate and lead in various activities and initiatives that will promote clinical and quality improvement for services provided.
  • Complies at all times with Hospital's policies and procedures; financial reviews, utilisation review/quality management, compliance and integrity programme; compliance and citizenship policies and the Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules, and Regulations.
  • Keeps abreast of the latest developments in field, both academically and through applied skill.
  • Development of personal and professional knowledge and competence through continuing medical education including maintaining applicable board certification.

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • Must have successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty.
  • Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency ("DEA") registration;
  • Be board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty, by a board acceptable to Hospital;
  • Obtain Medical Staff Privileges within the Health system, at sponsoring institution
  • Doctorate MD or DO required
  • DR-Current and unrestricted licence to practise medicine in applicable state required

Physical Requirements -Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
