Job summary

The University of Washington invites applications for a Teaching Associate/Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP or PA-C) in the Division of Urogynecology, Obstetrics and Gynecology. This full-time twelve-month faculty appointment starts January 1, 2027.

The base salary range is $140,000–$170,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by applicable wage determinations.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN licensure for ARNP or Physician Assistant licensure.
• Graduate Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or PA program and licensure as ARNP or PA-C.
• Nationally certified ARNP/PA-C with DEA.
• Experience with medically complex patients and clinical teaching.
• Proven excellence in interdisciplinary team collaboration.
• Interpersonal, leadership, and clinical care skills.
• 1–2 years APP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform complex and problem-focused H&Ps.
• Educate patients about pelvic floor disorders and treatment options.
• Evaluate and manage pelvic floor therapy and overactive bladder care.
• Coordinate surgical care for prolapse, incontinence, and pelvic floor disorders.
• Perform pessary fittings within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with provider team to ensure safe, effective care.
• Participate in rounds, conferences, and committees.
• Document data in Epic and mentor new ARNP/PA-C staff and students.
• Other duties as assigned.
