Job summary

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Urogynecology at the University of Washington invites applications for a faculty Teaching Associate position with a start date of January 1, 2027. The role supports research, teaching, and service on a full-time twelve-month appointment at UW Medical Center, Northwest.

The ARNP/PA-C will provide evaluation and medical management, collaborate with the team, and teach residents and students under supervision.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN licensure for ARNP or PA licensure.
• Graduate degree from an accredited NP or PA program and licensure as ARNP or PA-C.
• Nationally certified ARNP/PA-C with DEA.
• Experience with medically complex patients and clinical teaching.
• Proven excellence in interdisciplinary collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs complex H&P exams.
• Understands pelvic floor disorders biology and history.
• Educates patients about pelvic floor therapy options.
• Evaluates and coordinates pelvic floor procedures.
• Collaborates with the provider team for safe, effective care.
• Mentors ARNP/PA-C staff and students.
• Documents patient care data in Epic.
