Job summary

U.S. Urology Partners and Central Ohio Urology Group are seeking a Medical Assistant to join the urogynecology team in a busy office setting. You will perform clinical tasks, coordinate patient flow, and support physicians and nurses to ensure smooth daily operations.

The position requires Medical Assistant certificate, vocational training, 1–3 years of related experience, and basic computer skills; familiarity with EMR and web-based systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Vocational or Technical training in Medical Assisting required.
• Certificate 1 Medical Assistant Certificate required.
• 1-3 years related work experience required.
• Basic familiarity with computers.
• Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Performs multiple clinical responsibilities and procedures, including urinalysis, urodynamic studies, bladder scan, and urinary catheterization.
• Seeks provider assistance when necessary.
• Assists physicians and nurses as needed.
• Develops competencies in urodynamic testing and catheterization per protocol.
• Maintains yearly competency under supervision.
• Cleans, disinfects and inspects equipment between patients.
