Job summary

Central Ohio Urology Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and clinical support across our clinics. The role requires independence, teamwork, and a focus on accurate medical records and patient flow.

The ideal candidate has a Medical Assistant credential, at least one year of experience, and willingness to travel between clinics as needed to support patient care delivery.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant degree or certificate from an accredited program.
• Minimum of one year experience preferred.
• Certification in Medical Assisting strongly preferred.
• Travel to other clinics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide both administrative and clinical support to the clinics.
• Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments.
• Process referrals, checkouts, discharges, and collect copays.
• Prepare examination rooms and maintain supplies.
• Greet patients and escort to rooms and labs for procedures.
• Obtain patient history and vital signs; document in EMR.
• Assist physicians with procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with RNs and LPNs to ensure patient care quality.
