Job summary

Brown University Health in Pawtucket, RI seeks a Mental Health Worker to perform random urine toxicology collection and support clinical operations. The role requires professionalism aligned with Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence values.

You will greet clients, supervise samples, ensure proper collection, complete chain-of-custody forms, and provide administrative support. Work days are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with day shift responsibilities at our Pawtucket

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, medication/physician order sheets, memos.
• Oral and written communication skills sufficient for effective communication.
• Ability to access emergency resources.
• Ability to complete all required training and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients in a courteous manner
• Supervise urine toxicology samples
• Ensure all drug screen specimens are collected accurately and on time
• Collect specimens according to established procedures
• Complete chain of custody forms accurately
• Submit supporting documentation electronically
• Package specimens for transport
• Maintain required records and documentation
• Provide administrative support including filing, faxing documents, preparing and distributing mail, and compiling statistics and data for reporting
