Actalent is seeking a QC Chemist I for our Columbus, OH site. You will perform bench testing including sample prep, dilutions, and standard weighing, with training on HPLC/GC to support Oral Dose Solids and Nasals development. This contract-to-hire role emphasizes timely analytical work and cGXP compliance.
You will document results, assist in method validation and transfer, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment on 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM).
As a QC Chemist I, you will engage in bench testing, encompassing tasks such as sample preparation, wet chemistry, standard weighing, and dilutions. Over time, you will receive training on High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Gas Chromatography (GC). Your work will support both the Oral Dose Solids and Nasals departments, contributing to the development of manufacturable multisource pharmaceutical products. You will provide analytical support for the release of registration materials necessary for regulatory submissions and assist in analytical method validation and transfer activities.
You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, spending time in both the quality group and occasionally the manufacturing area. The position is for the 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
