Job summary

UrgentVet in Henderson, NV seeks a Full-Time Shift Lead to provide leadership, patient care oversight, and client service in a fast-paced urgent-care setting. You will work with the Practice Manager and DVM to guide paraprofessional staff and ensure efficient operations.

The role requires veterinary tech licensure in NV, healthcare experience, and strong communication. On-site work with opportunities to advance within UrgentVet Hospitals.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or veterinary technician certification/licensure required in Nevada.
• Two years of healthcare/veterinary experience required.
• Six months of management experience preferred.
• Animal handling and patient restraint experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across shifts to support clients and staff.
• Coordinate paraprofessional staff and manage hospital operations.
• Assist with client resolution decisions and inventory management.
• Mentor new paraprofessional staff and ensure effective communication.
