Job summary

Bambini Montessori Academy is seeking a caring, patient Teacher Aide to join our growing team and help children learn, grow, and thrive.

You will support the Lead Teacher in a safe, nurturing classroom, assist with daily activities, supervise children, prepare materials, and help with routines. We offer full-time and part-time roles, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM, on-site, with benefits including holidays after 90 days and PTO, professional development, and a friendly team.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum 1 year of related childcare experience preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Assist Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities
Supervise and support children during play and learning
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom
Assist children with daily routines and transitions
Support individual children with patience and encouragement
Prepare classroom materials and activities
Work cooperatively with teachers and other staff
Create a warm, positive experience for every child

What You’ll Do

As a Teacher Aide, you will support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.

Your responsibilities may include:

Assisting teachers with daily classroom activities
Supervising and supporting children during play and learning activities
Helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom
Assisting children with daily routines and transitions
Supporting individual children with patience and encouragement
Preparing classroom materials and activities
Working cooperatively with teachers and other staff
