Job summary

Prisma Health Urgent Care is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our on-site team in Gaffney, SC. You will deliver high-quality diagnostic X-ray imaging and ensure patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced clinical setting.

You will operate radiologic equipment, document procedures in the EMR, and collaborate with clinicians to enhance patient care. The role supports front office tasks and may involve triage and basic patient care duties as needed.

Qualifications

• ARRT-approved educational program completed.
• Current ARRT credentials in Radiography (R).
• Certification compliant with the state of South Carolina.
• Active BLS certification.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills.
• Proficiency with EMR and PACS systems.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and rotating holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray imaging with correct patient positioning and radiation safety.
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment ensuring accurate results and patient safety.
• Document procedures and manage imaging records in EMR.
• Collaborate with clinical team to support optimal patient care.
• Perform vital signs, triage, and assist with basic patient care tasks as needed.
• Support front office functions and maintain inventory and supplies.
