Job summary

Prisma Health Urgent Care – Delivering Quality Care with Purpose is seeking a Licensed Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray imaging and manage imaging records in a fast-paced urgent care setting. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, safety, and teamwork within a supportive environment.

The ideal candidate will hold ARRT Radiography credentials, SC certification, and BLS, with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• ARRT-approved education program completed.
• Current ARRT credentials in Radiography (R).
• South Carolina state certification required.
• Active BLS certification.
• Strong communication and patient service skills.
• Proficiency with EMR and PACS systems.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging with proper positioning and radiation safety.
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Document procedures and manage imaging records in EMR.
• Collaborate with clinical team to support patient care and satisfaction.
• Assist with basic patient care tasks and triage as needed.
• Support front office tasks and inventory maintenance.
