Job summary

Christensen Farms is seeking a Maintenance Scheduling Specialist (temporary) to coordinate and dispatch maintenance work orders for our agricultural facilities. The role focuses on emergency and short-term tasks, processing service requests, and managing purchase orders to support timely maintenance delivery.

This temporary position begins ASAP and ends in early December 2026, with real-time communication and documentation of all maintenance activities across operations and planning teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in dispatch, scheduling, coordination, or maintenance support.
• Experience with CMMS or work order systems preferred (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong communication skills under pressure.
• Attention to detail in fast-paced, real-time operations.
• Ability to work independently across multiple departments.
• Familiarity with farm production or agricultural maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule all emergency and reactive maintenance within the same week.
• Serve as primary dispatcher for internal and external maintenance teams.
• Create and manage service requests in CMMS for accuracy.
• Generate and manage purchase orders for emergency repairs with approvals.
• Communicate with farm operations staff and service providers.
• Update real-time work order status in CMMS.
• Coordinate with Planning Team to hand off non-urgent work to longer-term planning.
• Ensure compliance with scheduling policies and timely documentation.
