Nurse Next Door is hiring a Home Care Aide in the Saratoga area. Start immediately with the opportunity to grow through our Happier Aging philosophy and Bold Kindness culture.

This role involves assisting clients with ADLs, personal care, meals, housekeeping, and transportation to appointments, with competitive pay of $21–$25 per hour. We offer a full-time/part-time pathway, employee benefits, paid orientation, and relocation support as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in caregiving or related field preferred.
• Ability to assist with ADLs within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide.
• Willingness to maintain active home care aide registration with the CA State Dept. of Social Services.

Aufgaben

• Execute the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) within the permitted scope.
• Help clients with personal hygiene, meal planning and preparation.
• Perform household services including housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders and report changes to the administrator.
• Complete records of services performed and drive to appointments when needed.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the home care aide include, but are not limited to, the following-

• Execute the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Help clients with their ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) that are within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide.
• Assisting clients with personal hygiene such as skin, mouth, hair care, bathing, and dressing.
• Meal planning and preparation
• Performing household services including housekeeping, laundry,
• Assisting clients with medications reminders which are ordinarily self-administered.
• Reporting changes in the client’s condition and needs to the administrator or care designer.
• Completing records regarding services performed.
• Driving to appointments or to run errands.
• Accurately records all hours worked.
• Remains alert throughout the shift in case client requires assistance, responds immediately to any such needs by providing the assistance required, or calling theCompany for guidance.
• Participating in all required entry-level and annual training requirements.
• Maintaining an active home care aide registration with the State of Ca. Dept. of SocialServices Home Care Services Bureau.
• Other duties as assigned by the administrator or designee.
