Qualifications

• Graduation from a two year accredited program in Radiologic Technology is required.
• Six months experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• State licensure in CT Radiology is required by the State of Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic examinations and prepare room; ensure equipment and supplies are ready.
• Position patients and adjust exposures for designated body areas.
• Maintain radiation safety and monitor exposure levels to minimize patient dose.
• Explain procedures to patients and provide preparatory instructions.
• Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean and orderly.
