Qualifications

• Proficiency in medical assistant clinical tasks and urgent-care workflows.
• Competence with vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, EKGs, and lab procedures.
• Ability to perform X-rays with attention to patient safety and image quality.
• Strong documentation and recordkeeping skills.
• Good teamwork and communication, with experience or aptitude for training others.

Responsibilities

• Support urgent-care providers by performing medical assistant duties and assisting with diagnostic imaging.
• Perform patient support in urgent-care settings, including vital sign collection.
• Prepare patients and exam rooms for clinical visits.
• Assist with clinical procedures as directed by providers.
• Take and manage X-rays, following required safety and imaging protocols.
• Conduct phlebotomy, administer injections, and perform EKGs.
• Collect, prepare, and assist with lab testing.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain and organize medical equipment and supplies.
• Train and support new staff members.
