Job summary
Rarebreed Veterinary Partners in Portland, ME is seeking a compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our urgent care team. You will work with experienced doctors in a fast-paced setting, maintain medical records, and support a full-range of procedures with radiography and anesthesia readiness.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CVT/LVT certification/licensure required.
- Minimum 3 years veterinary experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to pet patients and families.
- Maintain accurate medical records per hospital policy.
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and treatment areas.
- Perform physical assessments and document observations.
- Assist Veterinarian in medical, surgical, and dental procedures.
- Take radiographs and restrain small animals as needed.
- Collect and process laboratory samples and interpret results.
- Explain follow-up and home care instructions to clients.
