Job summary

Totalbond Riverbend Veterinary PetCare Hospital in Mountain Island, near Charlotte, is seeking a Registered Urgent Care Veterinary Technician to assist veterinarians with exams, anesthesia, and recovery while delivering compassionate care to pets and clear updates to owners.

The ideal candidate has experience in animal care and client communication, is familiar with lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement, and is committed to maintaining accurate records and high safety

Qualifications

• Experience in animal care and client communication
• Knowledge of common diseases and veterinary awareness
• Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
• Safely handle and restrain animals with compassion.
• Communicate clearly with clients, including care instructions and status updates.
• Perform technical duties such as lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medication dispensing.
• Help keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready.
• Follow hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines at all times.

Salary: $23.00-$25.00 per hour dependent on skills and experience

Schedule: Monday and Wednesday 3PM-10PM, Saturdays 10AM-8PM
