Job summary

Qualifications
- 1 year veterinary experience required.
- Must be able to properly restrain pets.
- Evening and weekend shift availability.
- Compassionate and calm team player.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in sample collection, medical histories, lab tests and radiographs, anesthesia monitoring a bonus.
- Self-starter who seeks to grow knowledge and skills.
Responsibilities
- Restrain animals and triage incoming patients.
- Collect and analyze lab samples; perform basic diagnostic imaging.
- Provide nursing care for medical and hospitalized cases; administer medications.
- Communicate treatment plans to clients; assist in surgical prep and anesthesia as needed.
- Handle potential exposure to odors, bites, scratches and waste.
