Job summary

UrgentVet in Overland Park, KS is seeking an experienced veterinarian for swing/second shift urgent care. This role focuses on after-hours care for canine and feline patients with no wellness duties.

You’ll work with a strong clinical team and leadership, manage a varied caseload including surgeries, and participate in internal LevelUp mentorship and training programs. Flexible compensation and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a DVM/VMD degree from AVMA-accredited college.
• Active license to practice in Kansas or ability to obtain.

UrgentVet bridges the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care in the Overland Park, KS area. We offer after-hours care for canine and feline patients without the additional expense of emergency clinic fees. Our single-doctor shifts offer care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. Each of our paperless clinics is specially designed to deliver efficient care and equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and a full suite of IDEXX in-house lab equipment.

Skills Knowledge, and Expertise
