Job summary

UrgentVet Hospitals in Naperville, IL is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our after-hours, single-doctor shifts. We provide care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting, and diarrhea, with cloud-based EMR and IDEXX in-house labs.

You will work with a strong technical team in a modern, paperless clinic; collaboration with the clinical team and leadership is encouraged, with flexible swing/second shifts and a focus on Fear Free, feline-friendly

Qualifications

DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college.
Active license to practice in the state of employment.
Ability to provide urgent care in after-hours shifts.

Responsibilities

Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach.
Collaborate and engage with the clinical team and leadership.
Grow relationships within the Chicago community.
Encourage growth of support staff through internal LevelUp training.
Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during open hours.
