Job summary

UrgentVet, Inc in Tucson provides after-hours care for canine and feline patients with a focus on affordable, urgent care. The clinics are paperless, equipped with cloud EMR, digital x-ray, and in-house IDEXX lab equipment to support efficient care.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from AVMA-accredited school.
• Active state license to practice medicine.

Responsibilities

• Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach.
• Collaborate and engage with the clinical team and leadership.
• Grow relationships within the practice and the Tucson community.
• Encourage the growth of support staff members through internal LevelUp training.
• Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during open hours.

UrgentVet bridges the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care in the Tucson, Arizona area. We offer after-hours care for canine and feline patients without the additional expense of emergency clinic fees. Our single-doctor shifts offer care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. Each of our paperless clinics is specially designed to deliver efficient care and equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and a full suite of IDEXX in-house lab equipment.
