UrgentVet Hospitals in the Minneapolis area seeks an Urgent Care Veterinarian to provide after-hours care for canine and feline patients. The role focuses on wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia, with paperless clinics and cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and IDEXX in-house labs.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college or successful completion of ECFVG/PAVE
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state of employment (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach
• Collaborate with the clinical team and leadership
• Grow relationships within the Minneapolis community
• Encourage growth of support staff through internal LevelUp training
• Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during open hours

Description

UrgentVet bridges the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care in the Coon Rapids, MN area. We offer after-hours care for canine and feline patients without the additional expense of emergency clinic fees. Our single-doctor shifts offer care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. Each of our paperless clinics is specially designed to deliver efficient care and equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and a full suite of IDEXX in-house lab equipment.
