Job Description

A modern veterinary practice in Virginia Beach, Virginia is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its team. This role provides after-hours care for dogs and cats, bridging the gap between daytime general practice and overnight emergency services, without the added cost of emergency clinic fees.

Veterinarians work evening, swing, or second shifts as the sole doctor on site, managing common urgent cases such as wound care, ear infections, vomiting, diarrhea, and euthanasia. The practice does not offer wellness appointments or perform abdominal surgeries, keeping the focus entirely on urgent care.

Clinics are Fear Free and Feline Friendly certified, paperless, and equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and a full suite of IDEXX in-house lab equipment. A strong technical team provides consistent support to ensure smooth, efficient patient care.

The schedule is highly flexible, and the facilities are brand new and purpose-built for urgent care efficiency and comfort. This position is available as part-time or full-time.
