UrgentVet - Kennesaw is seeking a DVM/VMD licensed veterinarian for our urgent care clinics in the Atlanta area. The role focuses on after-hours care with a relationship-based approach and collaborative support from a strong technical team.

Position offers flexible scheduling, second/swing shifts, and a modern hospital environment with cloud EMR and in-house IDEXX labs. Join a team dedicated to high-quality urgent care.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from AVMA accredited college.
• Active license to practice in the state of employment (or ability to obtain).

• Grow relationships within the practice and community.
• Mentor and develop support staff through internal programs.

UrgentVet bridges the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care in the Kennesaw, Georgia area. We offer after-hours care for canine and feline patients without the additional expense of emergency clinic fees. Our single-doctor shifts offer care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. Each of our paperless clinics is specially designed to deliver efficient care and equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and a full suite of IDEXX in-house lab equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach

• Grow relationships within the practice and the Atlanta community
• Encourage the growth of support staff members through our internal LevelUp training program
• Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during our open hours

Skills Knowledge, and Expertise

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be employed (or the ability to obtain a license in that state)
