Qualifications

• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required; renewals per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.
• IV proficiency within 6 months as per department policy; tracked locally.
• Credentials: CMA, RMA, State licensure as EMT/EMT-I/Paramedic, or LPN.

Responsabilités

• Provide emergent/urgent patient care under physician/PA/NP/RN supervision.
• Coordinate department flow; inform patients of delays and keep them updated.
• Prepare patients for examination; assist during and after the visit.
• Inserts Foley catheters, performs splinting and venipuncture as needed.
• Maintain exam rooms and stock; ensure supplies and equipment are clean.
