Job summary

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a part-time Urgent Care Technician/EMT to join our highly committed and dynamic Onalaska Urgent Care team as we provide excellent quality care to over 36,000 patients of all ages annually.

Starting pay is $19.05 per hour and up, based on experience, with generous shift differentials. Requirements include a High School diploma, NREMT or Wisconsin EMT-B, and current Infant-Adult BLS. Prior emergency or pre-hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• EMT experience in emergency or pre-hospital settings preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication with multidisciplinary staff.
• Commitment to delivering patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in urgent care with a multidisciplinary team (MDs, PAs, NPs, RNs, EMTs, social workers).
• Care for 100–150 patients daily across pediatric to geriatric populations.
• Stabilize and transfer emergent cases to Emergency Services at Gundersen La Crosse campus when needed.
