Job summary

Gundersen Health System in Washington is seeking an Urgent Care Provider to deliver urgent care services to patients across all ages. You will assist medical staff in patient care, stabilizing patients for transfers as necessary. The position involves on-call shifts requiring a minimum of 48 shifts in six weeks.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma, NREMT or EMT-B certification, and prior emergency care experience. This is a casual role starting at $18.63 per hour, with additional shift differentials.

Qualifications

• National Registry Emergency Medical Technician – Basic (NREMT) or Wisconsin EMT-B required.
• Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification needed.
• Prior experience in emergency or pre-hospital setting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care to patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric in an on-call setting.
• Assist physicians and nurses in delivering patient care.
• Stabilize patients for safe transfer to the hospital emergency department.
