Job summary

At Duly Health and Care, join a physician-led team dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered urgent care. The Urgent Care Tech role focuses on assisting clinicians, performing IV starts and blood draws, and supporting care delivery in a fast-paced environment.

You will triage patients, handle routine procedures, and help ensure safety, comfort, and timely treatment while collaborating with nurses and physicians across ICC and Express Care locations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• EMT-Paramedic Certification required.
• CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• ITLS certification a plus.
• Minimum 2 years in an acute care setting required.
• At least 1–2 years experience starting IVs and drawing blood.
• Phlebotomy certification within 6 months may be required.
• Base pay ranges vary by role and location; additional compensation via shift differentials and incentives may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care support for ICC and Express Care patients.
• Support nursing and medical staff under RN, PA/NP, or physician supervision.
• Perform venipuncture, IV starts, injections, and wound care.
• Explain and perform procedures (e.g., wound care, dressing changes, IV insertion).
• Triage patients and determine care level; coordinate with RN on duty.
• Assist with patient rounds, specimen collection, and documentation in EPIC.
• Maintain inventory and department cleanliness; restock as needed.
• Assist with immobilization, splinting, and basic casting; assist with suturing.
