Job summary

ConvenientMD LLC in Massachusetts is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (RT) to join its urgent care team. You will operate radiographic equipment, position patients, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and timely diagnoses.

You will also support clinical care by triaging patients, conducting tests, and maintaining sterile exam rooms. The role includes inventory management and on‑the‑job training for new staff at multiple MA locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ARRT registration/licensure required.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required (CPR/ACLS online classes not accepted).
• 1–2 years of radiology and patient care experience preferred, in urgent care/emergency settings.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable equipment with ALARA safety.
• Position patients for imaging and document studies in EMR/PACS.
• Collaborate with radiologists for study interpretation and coordinate outside imaging requests.
• Switch between radiologic technologist and medical assistant responsibilities.
• Conduct triage, vital signs, medical history, and observational exams.
• Perform testing procedures including vision, hearing, drug screening, and point‑of‑care diagnostics.
• Maintain sterile exam rooms and equipment.
• Support onboarding and training for new clinic staff.
• Maintain radiology supply inventory and submit orders as needed.
